1. Audio & Input Requirements
The setup is designed so that all audio processing (Vocal & Guitar) happens at the pedalboard before being sent to the Front of House (FOH) console.
Microphone: Shure SM58 (or equivalent)
XLR Cable
Must be plugged directly into the pedalboard input.
Mic Stand: Boom
Placed at the left corner behind the pedalboard.
Acoustic Guitar
1/4" Instrument Cable
Plugged into the pedalboard output.
Guitar Stand: A-Frame or Tripod
Positioned stage right.
2. Power Requirements
- AC Power: One (1) dedicated power drop with at least one grounded (three prong) outlet located at the front-center of the stage for the pedalboard power supply.
3. Signal Flow & Patching
The performer will provide the pedalboard and one single XLR and one single 1/4 inch cables.
- Vocal Path: Mic → XLR Cable → Pedalboard Input → XLR Output to FOH.
- Guitar Path: Acoustic Guitar → 1/4" Cable → Pedalboard Input → 1/4" Output to DI or FOH.
4. Monitor Mix
- Wedge Monitor: One (1) floor monitor placed stage center to the pedalboard.
- Mix Preference: A balanced blend of vocals and guitar with a slight emphasis on the vocal clarity.
